Ventrilo Installation And Setup

Ventrilo is a Voice Chat program that we make use of to communicate. We utilize it as a means to chat both in and out of games. Ventrilo is extremely simple to use, and best of all it's free!

*Once installed, you need to create a profile. This consists of 2 or 3 fields that you will add our server information to, so in the future you can connect by pushing a button. Follow the below directions for creating a profile.
*On the Server field, click the -> symbol and it will open up a window to configure your connection. Call the server Log!c or whatever will help you remember which profile this is.
*In the Hostname or IP field, enter ventrilo2.ecgnetwork.com
*In the Port field, enter 3793
*Now click on the User Name field and enter a recognizable name (I suggest the nickname you use in game).
*Once you are finished hit Connect


Side Note: We strongly recommend that you set your microphone to Push To Talk in the Options menu. Then it will function like a walkie talkie (your mic will be on only when you hold down a hot key).

Also, if you do not have a mic, you can still connect and listen in!
